A continuously unfolding weave of contemporary jazz themes, minimalist soundscapes, improvisations, Latin and downbeat grooves, this is a premiere of a new jazz suite commissioned for the festival and performed by the October Ensemble, a 10-piece, including violins, cello, flugelhorns and French horn.

Accomplished saxophonist-composer Pete Canter presents jazz in a new context and breaks all the rules about what a jazz gig is supposed to be like.
