Exeter Jazz Club is quickly establishing a reputation for showcasing some of the best live music around, with the audience seated at tables and drinks served throughout - in short it is like the jazz clubs of old - minus the smoke!
For this year's Vibraphonic Festival we are featuring one the biggest names in contemporary jazz. 2009 Mercury Prize nominees Led Bib are a London-based quintet of dual saxes, keyboards, bass and drums.
Their latest album, Sensible Shoes, was one of the Mercury Prize albums of the year. Described By The Times as "the future of jazz", Led Bib are the leaders of the revitalised British jazz scene. (Cabaret seating with tables reserved for parties of 4 or more). "Rarely have two saxes, keyboard, bass and drums sounded so dangerous yet so compelling" (Observer Music Monthly).
